Colnago Master Pista Frame For Fixie

The Master Pista was actually brought to reality due to our persistence. As many of you know, the fixed gear movement is raging here in the Bay Area. We have all become fond of this style of riding and what more could you ask for then a Colnago Steel track bike? So we asked - and as you now know we got what we asked for… the Master Pista!

The Master Pista was launched in 2008 and became an instant classic. It features the same lugged detailing of the Master-X Light with horizontal dropouts and track geometry. This frame is a culmination of Ernesto Colnago’s 55 years experience of working with the best racers and experimenting to build the world's best steel bike. The Master series frames are made out of DT 15V steel tubeset developed by Colnago and Columbus together in 2003, a precise blend of chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. Colnago's master framebuilders manipulate this butted tubing into their traditional bi-conic profile, a race-proven design which provides for clean power transmission.

This frame is assembled with stunning chromed lugs for the purist who wants the classic ride and clean lines that only come from a lugged steel frame. Details include hand painted logos, detailing on the lugs, chrome chain stays, classic paint scheme, and the always beautiful Colnago logo on the 1" head tube.

The Master Pista is available in 7 sizes between 50cm-62cm. The fork is the Steel Pista and is NOT drilled for a front brake, though we are happy to custom order a drilled fork for you.
